Your plan and price
Your Move Belong subscription is billed monthly, in Australian dollars, plus GST where it applies. The price depends on how many paying members you had in the month: Starter covers up to 100, Studio up to 300, and Pro 301 or more. Current prices are on the Plan & Billing page and movebelong.com.
Who counts as a paying member
A person, including a child, who held a paid membership, pack or pass with your studio at any time during the month, even if it has since ended. Drop-in customers, free trials, leads and plans you grant for $0 are not counted.
When your plan changes
If your member count passes a limit during the month, your plan moves up straight away and you pay the difference for the days left in that month on your next invoice. If your count falls, your plan drops at the start of the next month. Prices for a part month are charged for the days remaining.
Your trial and first invoice
Your free trial comes first: 30 days, or the length of a switching bridge we have verified for you, which replaces the 30 days rather than adding to them. You are then charged for the rest of that calendar month, and then on the 1st of each month.
Locations and spaces
Each plan includes one location. A location is premises you own, lease or hold under a standing arrangement and operate from under your name, such as a gym, studio or club. A space is a room, court, field or area within a location, or a venue you hire for particular sessions or days, such as a school field, council oval or hall. Spaces are free, however many you use.
Extra locations
Each additional location costs A$29 per month and adds 50 SMS messages a month to your allowance. You confirm the price before it is added. It is charged for the days remaining in the month on your next invoice. Removing a location lowers the charge from your next invoice, pro rata.
Telling us the truth
You agree that the venue type and locations you tell us about are accurate. If a premises you hold under a lease or standing arrangement is set up as a space, we may ask you about it and, after giving you 14 days to respond, treat it as a location from the start of the month in which we told you.
Changes to price
We give you at least 30 days’ written notice of any price change. It applies from your next monthly period after that notice.
Ending your plan
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period and the month already billed is not refunded.
The studio runs its own classes
The studio operates classes, coaching and facilities. Move Belong supplies the software and marketplace.
Health information and the Privacy Act
If the studio collects health information, it is likely a health service provider under the Privacy Act and should not rely on the small business exemption.
Health information marked as required
If the studio marks health information as required for membership, it must pick a true reason (insurance, safety screening, legal or regulatory, or other with an explanation). Members see that reason before they agree.
Personal information off the platform
The studio must not use or disclose Move Belong-held personal information off the platform except as the product already allows or as the law requires.
Breach notification and cooperation
The studio must tell Move Belong promptly of a suspected eligible data breach involving information processed in the product, and cooperate on OAIC and individual notification.
Archived health records after deletion
After a member deletes their account, archived health information is hidden. The studio may request a time-limited read-only copy for a stated legal purpose. Move Belong reviews requests manually. Approved access expires in 30 days.
